Day 1 :
Arrival at Belize International Airport. In the airport you will meet your guide and take you to the accommodation. The accommodations are forest cabanas. They are located in the tropical pine forest.You just need to step outside your door to experience the wildlife and some trails that will lead you through the forest.When you have checked in at the accommodation you ill enjoy a welcome dinner at the accommodation.After dinner you will have a free night to explore the nature or to just relax at the accommodation.
After breakfast head to the Maya site Caracol directly in the jungle of Belize.Caracol is largest Mayan archaeological site in Belize. It is in the Chiquibil Forest Reserve of west-central Belize, just 47 miles from the Mayan city of Tikal (in Guatemala). The name Caracol means “snail” in Spanish and refers to the winding roads leading to the site. Its Mayan name was Oxwitzá -“three hill water” .
Caracol spread out 55 square miles , and at its peak (approx. 650 AD), Caracol’s epicenter, or town, housed about 15,000 people, with 120,000 – 180,000 living in the Caracol “suburbs” – settlements along the paved causeways radiating from the epicenter of Caracol.More than 100 tombs have been excavated, as well as a rich array of hieroglyphic inscriptions.Pocket lunch prepared by your hotel. In the afternoon on the way back stop at the 1000 thousands feet waterfall.This spectacular waterfall are 1000 feet high.Back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.
Breakfast in your hotel and be ready for an amazing excursion by horseback riding in the region of Cayo. In this tour you will be able to see many birds and spider monkeys.Lunch in a typical restaurant. Jose will entartain you with some stories of Belize.In the afternoon move to Belmopan area, dinner and overnight in your hotel in the rainforest.
After breakfast excursion to the Jaguar paw, you will make a small trek to reach the river where you will have a spectacular cave tubing trip.Take a bath and enjoy the hresh water and the beautiful landscape of the cave and the rainforest.Lunch in a restaurant close by.In the afternoon move to the chocolate farm to taste some nice organic chocolate.Dinner and overnight in hotel.
In the early morning Move down to Placencia peninsula. On the way, stop at Bocawina National Park to explore the park and make the longest zipline of Belize.Lunch in the park.In the afternoon move to Placencia, enjoy the sunset of the lagoon, dinner and overnight in hotel.
Excursion to the spectacular Ranguana Caye.Enjoy a relax trip on the beach of this stunning island.Lunch with fresh seafood catch from your captain.In the afternoon back to Placencia, dinner and overnight.
In the early morning, Manatee watchin in the lagoon of Placencia.Lunch in the hamming birg road, on the way back to Belize City.Dinner and overnight in Belmopan area in Banana Bank Lodge to experience a truly Belizean food.
After an early breakfast, You will get transferred to Belize International Airport, where you take your flight back home.End of our services
